DR KRISH SATKUNAM
MBBS BSc DipBus– Founder & Managing Director
Krish had cultivated a keen interest in property whilst completing his academic studies; building up a London residential property investment portfolio alongside gaining 1 st Class Honours Degrees in Medicine (St Bart’s & Royal London Medical School) and Medical Physics (University College London) and a Diploma in Business Studies (City University). Having commenced practice as a doctor in the NHS, with specialisms in Cardiology, Oncology & Psychiatry; he progressed to Senior House Officer level.
Operations and Development Director
Thava has an overarching supervisory role across all company operations, liaising closely with the Managing Director, finance team and all team members to ensure consistent performance against the numerous company targets set for the business as a whole and for each individual project. Additionally, he is responsible for all general business and construction industry-specific administration matters.
He is also a Development Manager in his own right, solely responsible for the delivery of certain projects and also for managing relationships with certain key subcontractors with whom he has initiated, nurtured and developed strong relationships.
Jega comes with a wide practical experience on different types of projects using a variety of innovative construction techniques predominantly in the RC frame and groundworks sector. He has worked in highly demanding environments whilst maintaining high health and safety standards for the projects to be delivered to agreed quality standards. As a Construction Director, he will leverage this experience in overseeing the successful delivery of all our new build projects.
MSc. BSc., Development Director
Ben is responsible for on-boarding of new projects; working with existing and new clients, to clearly establish their objectives and detailed requirements; collaborating with clients’ legal team, funders, funder’s advisors and other construction and property professional advisors aided by liaison with the senior Pooch team; in order to ensure that all parties to each project are suitably satisfied prior to commencement of development with their respective involvement, roles and responsibilities.
Shane is responsible for on-boarding of new projects; working with existing and new clients, to clearly establish their objectives and detailed requirements; collaborating with clients’ legal team, funders, funder’s advisors and other construction and property professional advisors aided by liaison with the senior Pooch team; in order to ensure that all parties to each project are suitably satisfied prior to commencement of development with their respective involvement, roles and responsibilities. His role is key to ensuring that each project is entered into with all the required preparatory work, legal and JCT Contract frameworks completed; ready for the construction team to take forward from handover of each site through to successful completion of each project.
Head of Finance
A dynamic and sharp accounting professional, Kabilan comes with a solid foundation of corporate disciplines acquired principally within the hospitality, education and charity sectors. At Pooch, Kabilan is responsible for managing accounts and financial management across all construction projects. He is responsible for monthly budgeting and quarterly financial forecasting.
Murali is our Management Accountant for Pooch. He is responsible for long-term and short-term business planning for Pooch, working with the directors. He owns the task of preparing monthly management accounts and maintaining Key Performance Indicators, implementing account policies & controls, statutory accounts, VAT, PAYE, Daily bookkeeping & controls, Fixed Asset Management and many more. Murali is also an expert when it comes to controlling accounts and intercompany reconciliation.
Seyohn is our new recruit at Pooch Ltd. He has joined us as an Asst. Accountant and comes with an accounting & finance background. Seyohn utilises strong organisation and time management skills to meet the dynamic demands on the job in this construction business.
Lahiru manages all the costs relating to building, civil engineering, interior designing projects. He comes with the experience of over seven years as a quantity surveyor. Lahiru has a proven track record of minimising the costs of projects and enhancing value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Jay primarily assists with site management with active construction projects as well as providing support to the respective development managers on special projects. His enthusiasm, flexibility and attention to detail have stood him in great stead to learn quickly and prove to be a cherished team member.
Suba is our experienced Project Manager and Civil Engineer with over nine years of experience in the construction industry. He has hands-on experience in Project Management, Supervision, and Engineering to develop commercial and residential buildings.
BSc. (Hons) Civil Engineer and Project Manager
Rui started his career in 2008 working for his Father’s residential company as an assistant developer, while studying for his Bachelor’s Degree at Lusofona University in Lisbon, Portugal. Years later, Rui moved to the UK to explore new horizons and saw his degree recognised by NARIC. Since then He has been involved in projects throughout the country, and his dedication to the industry has led him to achieve much success for the Krinvest Group as a safe pair of hands. Academically, Rui is a qualified Civil Engineer with solid managerial experience in high-end residential and cutting-edge commercial projects, including reinforced concrete and steel frame structures.
Asst. Project Manager
Anu started off her career as a project quantity Surveyor and material engineer lead for over 6 years and is presently an Asst. Project Manager for construction projects at Pooch Ltd.. Within a short span she has already proven herself as a capable PM, with her strict adherence to scope, time/effort, budgets, quality and safety standards, ability to manage issues and risks and can also adapt to frequent changes in priorities.In addition to all of the above And has experience in commercial, mixed-use and multi-family construction projects from start to finish with a successful background in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring all building activities.
MA Arch - Managing Architect
Anatolii looks after the majority of full planning applications and many feasibility studies. Engaging meaningfully with clients from the outset to clearly establish their ambitions, key drivers and expectations; then continually working collaboratively with the client through each key stage of work required (covering RIBA Stages 0 through 7); he efficiently and effectively crafts creative and commercial design solutions to more often than not surpass client’s requirements.
Anatolii is passionate about creating unique, modern, sustainable, functional buildings and spaces; believing good concept design and spatial coordination are achieved by holistically engaging with all of the Pooch Senior Team, engineers, specialist consultants, planning authorities, communities and end-users.
MSc. BSc. - Architect
Saba is responsible for the majority of initial feasibility studies as well as building regulations plan design and compliance for planning-consented projects being brought forward in preparation for the commencement of construction.
Saba joined in 2014 as the company’s first architect; working directly alongside the managing director and development managers. She has been instrumental in delivering key company achievements over the years and continues to provide invaluable project-based work.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Engineering & Technology in Lahore (Pakistan) in 2012 followed by a masters degree in Quantity Surveying from Kingston University in 2017 alongside her employment at Pooch.
Massimo De Santis
ARB – M.Arch.
Massimo joined Pooch Construction in April 2021 and has over 25 experience. He has expertise in working across project stages with much focus and attention to design and detail. Massimo has previously worked in award-winning architectural firms in Italy, Australia and London. He has extensive experience in hospitality, mixed-use and high-end retail and residential schemes from a design coordinator to site architect.
Massimo also has some incredible, prestigious international architecture and design projects to his credit, including Louis Vitton stores, Cabot Circus in Bristol, St Pancras International Station and Zedwell Piccadilly Hotel in London.
Design and Project Management Assistant
Adi is a architectural assistant who assists the senior architects, development managers and the managing director; getting involved in all current projects assisting in various capacities, building up a breadth of experience whilst providing invaluable crucial support to the whole team.
He joined in 2020 having gained valued vocational client-side experience in architectural and construction management positions, both during and since graduating from an undergraduate 5 year degree in Architecture from Pune University (India) in 2018 and a Masters in Construction & Project Management from Queens University (Belfast) in 2019.
Ranjith is our in-house construction buyer who continually builds relationships with several merchants in the market and negotiates preferential rates to achieve cost-efficient solutions on materials and other services. Previously, Ranjith has worked as an accounts assistant for Headmasters where he was responsible for processing and reconciling accounts for 6 franchised businesses.
