The land bounded by 685-695 Old Kent Road, 2-12 Ruby Street and Murdock Street has planning permission for a part 3, part 7 and part 22 storey building to provide 111 apartments above c.17,800sqft of commercial work space, a c.12,389sqft church and community facility, a c.936sqft retail unit fronting Old Kent Road and a c.1,870sqft café. The café faces the proposed new Livesey Park where the listed gas holder is to be retained as a centre piece.
